Redbreast 12YO Single Pot Still Whisky 700ml

Redbreast is a brand of single pot distilled Irish whiskey produced by Irish distilleries. It was originally distilled by the Dublin spirits merchant Gilbeys using the Bow Street Distillery in Jackson. In the 1980s, the brand was acquired by the Irish Distilling Company, the producer of Jameson Irish Whiskey. The world's biggest selling single-pot whisky is still Irish whiskey.

Distilled from malted and unmalted barley in Midleton, it is then matured in a combination of American oak bourbon casks and Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks.

Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Nutty, intense, with aromas of dried peel, ginger, linseed and fruit (including a little melon)
Palate: Nutty and citrus (peel and juice) with hints of marzipan, dried fruit and sherry
Finish: Long, slightly spice
