A typical gin from Kagoshima is distilled from a variety of botanicals and juniper berries, while KOMASA GIN is characterized by a minimum of added elements. As a result, it is easy to enjoy the aroma and flavor of only the best ingredients.
The main plant is Sakurajima mandarin orange. The world's smallest mandarin orange, or mikan, is an important crop on Mt. Sakurajima because its volcanic ash soil is unsuitable for rice production. Its diameter is only 4-5cm, and its weight is only 20-50g. Although its volume is small, its presence is huge.
