A special edition of Courvoisier's super-luxury L'Essence cognac, bottled in honour of Chinese New Year 2012, the year of the Dragon, with a beautiful dragon hand-engraved in gold on the bottle and box. Just 500 of these bottles were released.
L'Essence de Courvoisier presents the central idea of Napoleon's Cognac (Courvoisier), combining centuries-old traditions of the Cognac family with modern pioneering technology. L'Essence de Courvoisier has more than 100 "exux-de-vie" from Grande Champagne and Borderies.
This brandy combines rare wines stored in cellars in the early 20th century with the "exux-de-vie" of the 1970s and 1980s - the innovative and classic era of Napoleon Cognac (Courvoisier). At that time, a unique distillation method was used, and special wooden barrels were selected for aging, which made it have a golden luster and an extraordinary taste, with aromas of vanilla, almond and toffee.
