The Balvenie The Week Of Peat 19YO Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml + The Balvenie Creation Of A Classic Whisky 700ml
【The Balvenie The Week Of Peat 19YO Single Malt Scotch Whisky】
The Balvenie distillery focuses on floral and fruity flavors, and the idea of producing peat-flavored Balvenie came from the former manager of the distillery, Ian Millar. He believed that The Balvenie should start making some peat-flavored whiskey again, just like the 1930s and 1940s. Like the winery, it pays homage to traditional flavors. So starting from 2002, The Balvenie Distillery spends one week every year distilling lighter peat-flavored whiskeys. The Balvenie Story Series 19-year-old peated single malt whiskey is one of them.
Aroma: Soft and sweet peat smoke, light floral aroma and delicate cream, caramel and honey
Palate: A smooth, round mouthfeel with soot balances flavors of citrus, oak, vanilla and nectar. A soft smokey finish with a creamy sweetness of vanilla
Alcohol Content: 48.3%
【The Balvenie Creation Of A Classic Whisky】
This whisky is the story of head bartender David Stewart creating the first Scotch single malt whisky with barrel finishing. Finished with a sherry barrel, it is sweet, syrup-like, with vanilla and ginger spice. Specially designed exquisite cylindrical carton, and printed bespoke for this whisky, illustrations by British artist and printmaker Andy Lowell.
Aroma: Fragrant and lively, aromas of vanilla and spices reminiscent of dried cloves and chai, layered on top of the malt base of the earth, reminiscent of Pafus' own barley loft
Palate: Light oat syrup and crumbly toffee pair perfectly, followed by a hint of spice and a rich, dryness from European oak barrels
Alcohol Content: 43%
