Crafted in Ming dynasty cellars, aged in terracotta jars for more than 6 years and blended with rare 15-year old spirit form the Tai-An workshop.
Shede uses ecological brewing methods to create raw spirit, of which 98% is sacrificed to preserve only the essential 2%. It is also committed to sacrifice time, space and effort to ensure every bottle is aged to perfection, resulting in the world’s largest reserve of premium aged baijiu.
This strong spiced liquor is sold duty-free and is not available in the Chinese domestic market, and production is extremely limited.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Immediate bouquet of complex floral aromas, including violets and gardenia, followed by peach and ripe apricot flavours.
Palate: Grows on the palate, starting with an intense ripe pineapple flavour, followed by liquorice, pepper and anise.
Finish: Fruity, long and mellow.
