Mackillop's Choice Longmorn 25YO 1997 Single Malt Whisky 700ml
A 1997 vintage Longmorn single malt, drawn from a single cask that matured the whisky until March 2020. After then, this expression was independently bottled for the Mackillop's Choice range at cask strength with a small out turn of only 86 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Floral, elegant and lifted with notes of citrus rinds and earthy peat lurking in the background
Palate: Instant peat smoke fills the mouth with layers of Arbroath Smokie, chargrilled Pak Choi and a sprinkling of sea salt. Adding a touch of water brings out a little more sweetness and fresh white stone fruits
