Matured for 18 years in traditional American oak whisky casks, it therefore releases honey and vanilla flavours. It is then casked in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks to add a touch of fruit and spice. Intense and layered flavours from the much-loved Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, rich in texture from sun-ripened vines, blending perfectly with The Balvenie's classic honey. Pedro Ximénez is a white grape variety that is widely grown in several regions of Spain. It is unique in the winemaking process, which increases the ripeness and sweetness of the grapes through extensive sun exposure, resulting in an intense, dessert-like wine.

Nose: A blend of raisins and dried fruit, intertwined with oak and subtle cloves, while concealing a silky sweet lavender
