Balvenie Creation of a Classic Whisky 700ml
This whisky is the story of head bartender David Stewart creating the first Scotch single malt whisky with barrel finishing.
Finished with a sherry barrel, it is sweet, syrup-like, with vanilla and ginger spice. Specially designed exquisite cylindrical carton, and printed bespoke for this whisky, illustrations by British artist and printmaker Andy Lowell.
Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Fragrant and lively aromas of vanilla and spice, reminiscent of dried cloves and chai tea, complemented by notes of earth and malt, reminiscent of The Balvenie's barley warehouse
Taste: Oatmeal sweetness is wonderfully paired with crunchy toffee flavours, a touch of elegant spice and a strong European oak flavour
Finish: Light oak with a long lingering finish
