Aultmore 25YO 700ml
The Gaelic name of Aultmore Distillery means "big river". It was built by Alexander Edward in Foggie Moss in Speyside in 1897. Foggie Moss is also known as "Mysterious Bermuda Delta". Since ancient times, the water here has been pure and pure. And the lingering mist is famous, because it is covered with gorse and heather to filter the water source, and because of the abundant water vapor, it often locks the winery in fog, which adds a bit of mystery to the Aultmore Distillery.
The whole process of sherry barrel aging is a rare wine, amber liquor, very deep sweetness, strong caramel aroma, dark fruits, plums, dried fruits, red dates, dark roasted coffee, and a little ash flavor, quite complicated. Full-bodied, oily, fairly sweet and slightly bitter, a little salty, a little herbal, quite complex. The finish is full of dark fruit and malty sweetness, and finally brings out the characteristic grassy flavor of Aultmore.
